BIOGRAPHY

Marcel Dyf was born on 7th October 1899 in Paris. While he is known for his paintings of figures, flowers and still life subjects, he is most celebrated for his beautifully atmospheric landscapes. These he executed with his distinctive loose style that imbues the subjects with such a natural feel. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais, The Salon d'Automme and the Salon des Tuileries
