Henry H. Parker
(1858 - 1930 )
Henry H. Parker was born in 1858. He studied painting at St. Martins School of Art and later at the Royal Academy Schools. Not much is known about the artist’s life but his paintings show that he devoted most of him time to painting the beautiful rural landscapes of England and Wales. Along with his harvesting subjects for which he is famous, Parker also painted river scenes, especially the upper reaches of the Thames and views in Kent, Surrey and Wales. The artist exhibited at several galleries and his works can be found in many private collections.
